Rate me, crush and confession game ideas for your story

By the Loomii team · Reviewed 10 October 2026

Rate me, Crush and Confession are anonymous story games: you post a link, friends answer one specific prompt — a score out of 10, who they have a crush on, or a secret — and you read the replies without knowing who sent them. Each game has its own Loomii link.

Why a game beats “ask me anything”

A blank “ask me anything” makes friends think. A game gives them a job: send a score, name a crush, confess a secret. That is why game stories usually get more replies, faster. Loomii has six games, and every one has its own link so you can switch without changing your settings:

  • Ask me anything — loomii.link/yourname
  • Rate me — loomii.link/yourname/rate
  • Q&A — loomii.link/yourname/qna
  • Crush — loomii.link/yourname/crush
  • Confession — loomii.link/yourname/confess
  • Honest opinion — loomii.link/yourname/opinion

Ask me anything is free for everyone; the other games unlock with coins (new accounts start with 100 free coins), and an Unlimited pass unlocks them all.

Rate me: scores out of 10

Friends send you a score out of 10, with a comment if they want. It’s quick, so it usually gets the most replies of any game.

Prompt ideas:

  • Rate me 1–10, be honest 👀
  • Rate my outfit today.
  • Rate my vibe out of 10.
  • Rate my last post.
  • Rate my friendship skills.
  • Rate my music taste.
  • Rate my cooking (you’ve tasted it).
  • Rate my handwriting.

Tip: Post the average score on your next story — people love seeing the result.

Crush: who likes whom?

Friends can tell you about a crush — on you, or on someone else — without being named. Keep it light; the point is giggles, not exposing anyone.

  • Who’s your crush? I won’t tell 🤫
  • Do you have a crush on me? Yes / no / maybe.
  • Describe your crush in three emojis.
  • Is your crush in my story viewers?
  • First letter of your crush’s name?
  • Would you ever tell your crush?

Never post a reply that names a real person who hasn’t agreed to it. Screenshots travel fast.

Confession: secrets and stories

Confessions get the most surprising replies. Friends share something they’ve never said out loud — about you, school, or life.

  • Confess something you’ve never told me.
  • Confess your most embarrassing moment.
  • Confess something you did that I never found out about.
  • Confess your unpopular opinion.
  • Confess what you really thought when we first met.
  • Confess something you’re proud of but never shared.

If a confession sounds like someone is in danger or being hurt, don’t treat it as a joke. Report it from the message, and if it’s urgent call 112. Loomii reviews safety reports first.

Honest opinion and Q&A

Honest opinion asks for feedback — “What do you honestly think of me?”, “What should I change about my profile?”. Q&A works like a press conference: you answer a pile of questions in one story, which is great before a trip, a result day or a big change.

  • Honest opinion: What’s my best quality? My worst?
  • Honest opinion: Should I cut my hair?
  • Honest opinion: Is my username cringe?
  • Q&A: Ask me about my new school / college / job.
  • Q&A: Ask me anything about my trip.
  • Q&A: Questions about my exam prep — fire away.

A 7-day game plan

Posting the same prompt every day gets fewer replies each time. Rotating games keeps your story interesting. Here is a simple week you can copy:

  • Monday — Rate me: “Rate my weekend out of 10.” Quick replies to start the week.
  • Tuesday — Q&A: “Ask me anything about my new class / job / hobby.”
  • Wednesday — Honest opinion: “What’s one thing I should change about my profile?”
  • Thursday — Quiz: share your “How well do you know me?” link and post the scoreboard the next day.
  • Friday — Crush: “Is your crush in my story viewers? 👀” Friday-night energy.
  • Saturday — Confession: “Confess something from this week.”
  • Sunday — Rest day, or answer the best messages from the week in one big story.

Each game has its own link, so you just paste a different one each day — no settings to change.

Playing with a friend group or class

Games work even better when a whole group plays. A few formats that go down well:

  • Group Rate me: everyone posts their Rate me link on the same day, then you compare scores in the group chat.
  • Class superlatives: post a Q&A asking “Who in our class is most likely to…” and share the funniest answers (without anyone’s private details).
  • Quiz battle: two friends make quizzes about themselves and see who gets the higher average score.
  • Birthday special: on a friend’s birthday, ask everyone to send them a kind anonymous message through their link.

Group games should stay kind. If someone is getting piled on, stop sharing the replies and check in with them.

Common mistakes (and easy fixes)

  • Posting the link with no prompt — fix: always write the question on the image.
  • Using a tiny sticker in the corner — fix: make it big and put it in the middle.
  • Posting a Crush or Confession game to a huge public audience — fix: use Close friends for personal games.
  • Screenshotting replies that mention other people — fix: only share replies about you.
  • Answering mean replies to “clap back” — fix: block, report and move on; it stops the pile-on.
  • Never answering — fix: reply to a few messages each time so people know you read them.

Bonus: the “How well do you know me?” quiz

Loomii’s quiz is different: you write multiple-choice questions about yourself, friends answer, and a scoreboard shows who knows you best. It’s free. See quiz question ideas.
